Sajak is best known as the host of the American television game show Wheel of Fortune, a position he has held since 1981.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Sajak began his career in broadcasting at a local radio station, later serving as a disc jockey during the Vietnam War for the American Forces Vietnam Network.
